Hello, my name is Alicia Owens and I've worked as a clinical counselor for 23 years. My focus areas are anxiety, depression, trauma, interpersonal effectiveness, life transitions, existential issues, grief, and loss. I use an eclectic approach including psychoanalysis and psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, cognitive therapy, and humanistic therapy. I am down to earth, easy-going, and light hearted. I treat others as I would want to be treated and offer warm, unconditional regard towards individuals seeking my help. Life can be serious, difficult and complicated. I offer a space where clients feel safe, empowered and understood.
