About

My ideal client is an individual or couple motivated to make a change. Their issues can range from struggling to manage their day-to-day lives to struggling to handle emotional reactions. They would need someone who can gently call things out while providing coping skills or tools. My ideal client would want to make an effort to show up consistently. Showing up consistently is not just attending sessions but also putting in work outside of sessions. With consistency, there's more progress. If the client needs some time to warm up, we can work with that, too. View 7 Photos

I use CBT, DBT, & ACT to understand a person's world. By understanding your thoughts and behaviors, I can also understand your reactions. I offer a different perspective that can challenge your thoughts, behaviors, and reactions. For me, the goal of therapy is to challenge your cognitive processes to lessen distress.

We aren't given instructional manuals for how to navigate life. It can be overwhelming, especially if you go through life with minimal support. I can't provide a manual, but I can provide a listening ear and tools to assist with the changes you're experiencing. We will work together to find the person you want to become using the strengths you already have.
