I provide individual and couples therapy to older adolescents and adults. My approach to therapy mainly draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I have additional training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). While I tend to draw from CBT, I incorporate other styles and techniques to tailor each session to meet the needs of each person I work with. I believe the most important and healing aspect of therapy is the relationship that is created between myself and the person sitting across from me. I specialize in the treatment of depression and anxiety disorders, including Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders. I have experience helping people with relationship problems, self-esteem concerns, women's issues, adjusting to postpartum, and grief. I also have experience in multicultural counseling - addressing issues unique to Asian Americans and other minority groups. I am fluent in Cantonese and Vietnamese. Hours of availability include evening and weekend hours.
