I work with children, teens and young adults who struggle with anxiety, OCD, life transitions, identity, and LGBTQ+ issues. Clients often begin therapy with me in search of relief from OCD/anxiety, support with transitions into college or adulthood, self-acceptance, identity exploration, ways to create more meaningful relationships with others, or parenting support. I also work with parents using SPACE to provide insight and teach skills that allow them to confidently support and respond to their child/teen struggling with OCD/anxiety. I am certified in and offer PCIT for children 7 and younger with behavioral challenges. My approach is strengths-based and collaborative to ensure that clients’ needs and goals are at the forefront of therapy. By using ACT, ERP, CBT, I-CBT, and/or interpersonal feedback, clients learn skills that equip them to take steps toward their values, challenge unhelpful patterns, face fears, build self-compassion, and deepen relationships with others. Whether you feel overwhelmed with anxious thoughts, are confused about how to respond to your child's anxiety, or struggle with self-doubt, therapy can provide a safe space be heard without judgement, gain insight into feelings and behavior, and begin to take the steps toward lasting change.
