I work primarily with teens and adults and specialize in a variety of presenting concerns: stress/anxiety, depression, grief/loss, PTSD/trauma, body image/disordered eating, relationship difficulties/boundaries, career/life transitions. Some of us enter therapy with very specific goals, other times the goals become more clear as therapy progresses. Either way, something that is necessary is an openness and willingness to participate. I understand that therapy can be overwhelming in the beginning, and that is why my goal is first and foremost to always ensure that you as the client feel as safe and comfortable as possible. As a therapist, it is a priority of mine to be open-minded. We are all multifaceted; we all have strengths and we all have areas of improvement. This is why it is important for us to explore past, present, and future in our work together. My therapeutic style is versatile. I use a variety of theoretical approaches based on the client and presenting concerns. We all go through struggles in life, and there is no reason why we should go through them on our own. Therapy is a safe place where, together as a team, we aim to work towards your goals and through whatever challenges you are facing. Therapy offers the opportunity to heal, evolve, and ultimately thrive. Please call/email me to set up an initial appointment.
