"Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls; the most massive characters are seared with scars" (Khalil Gibran). While suffering is part of life, and moving on always a possibility, figuring out how to reorganize the pieces of our puzzle after trauma has occurred can be a daunting task. Too often, we allow our past experiences and our scars to define who we are, and we get stuck in a dark place, incapable of taking that first step. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to walk that path with you. I have lived and worked in this community as a therapist for 20+ years. I have done a lot of trauma work, and have extensive experience working with sexual trauma (both childhood and adult), PTSD, grief and loss, depression (to include PPD), anxiety, parenting, self esteem and women's issues. I am EMDR trained, and I have an integrative approach to psychotherapy, as no two people are alike. I value diversity, and I enjoy working with people (ages 13 and up) of all walks of life, striving to provide my services in a safe, confidential and non judgmental environment.
