About

Eleanor Roosevelt once said, "You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop and look fear in the face". Taking the step to seek mental health treatment is not easy and deserves praise. You are taking the first step to changing your life and I congratulate you! I cannot wait to be a part of your mental health journey. Managing your mental health can be an extremely empowering experience. I believe that mental health and physical health are equally important. You make time to go to the gym a few times a week, so why not make time to see a therapist every once in a while, right?

There has always been a stigma around mental health treatment. I truly believe that knowledge is power. Being able to understand yourself can contribute to the healing process. I also feel that teaching children mental health skills sets them up to manage their mental health as they get older. Everyone could use a therapist and that's why I am here!

I have extensive training/history in dialectal behavior therapy (DBT), adoption counseling, and exposure therapy. I additionally run an anxiety and DBT skills group therapy program for teenagers. I am DBT-focused and heavily incorporate mindfulness practices into my daily sessions to help my clients feel more grounded and connected to themselves.
