From a low-income, first-generation background herself, she knows firsthand the profound impact one caring individual can have. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas, she's dedicated to improving mental health and well-being. Aisha earned her Bachelor’s in Nursing in 2008 and her Master’s in Social Work in 2014 from the University of Alaska Anchorage. Her career began in Child Welfare, providing case management and therapy to adolescents and young adults in foster care with mental health needs. Aisha serves as a School Counselor at a private Catholic high school, where she creates a safe space for students to navigate issues like grief, conflicts, anxiety, and depression. She also used her expertise to a psychiatric hospital, offering group/individual therapy to adolescents and adults, meeting clients with empathy as they face challenges. Specializing in areas such as abuse, assault, PTSD, adoption and foster care issues, and adjustment disorders, Aisha is committed to making a positive impact in every life she touches.
