About

I ground my therapeutic work on supporting person’s inherent strive to change and grow, as well as on potential to heal and adapt. My relational approach to therapy is based on discovering personal or relational wants, needs, and traumas, as well as improvement and stabilization of interpersonal connections. I support my clients in exploring the benefits of nurturing the wholesomeness of personhood in aspects of emotionality, physicality, spirituality and intellectuality, including examining perfectionism, ineffective behaviors, learning skills to manage difficult situations, tolerating discomfort, self-regulation, and self-care.

I am bilingual, and bicultural, which allows me to relate to themes of acculturation, immigration and broad spectrums of diversity. I have worked therapeutically with children, adolescents, and adults in individual, family, couple and group settings, addressing depression, anxiety, eating disorders, compulsive behaviors, shame, loss, and relational topics.

This can be a starting point or the next step in your journey of healing old/new emotional wounds, regaining sense of wholeness, strength, and trying new solutions, new ways of seeing and being, as well as relating to others and to self. This can be the step that changes how you feel about yourself and others, and how you set expectations and limits.
