About

Above all, I see you as a human being, not just a diagnosis or disorder to be fixed. My approach to therapy is holistic and trauma informed. Holistic therapy emphasizes treating the whole person rather than solely treating symptoms or conditions. Trauma informed therapy addresses the complex ways in which trauma can affect a person's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and seeks to create a safe and supportive environment in which individuals can begin to heal from their trauma.

To help you better understand yourself, your behaviors, and your loved ones, I combine scientific research in neurobiology with socio-cultural perspectives in psychotherapy. I believe that healing is relational, so I prioritize working on the relationships we have with ourselves and those around us too.

I also use somatic psychotherapeutic interventions in my therapeutic approach because our bodies hold valuable information. I strive to create a safe and supportive space for you to explore the connection between your mind and body and together, we will embark on a journey of growth, self-discovery, & healing, where you are at the center of your story.
