In my practice I have worked with a wide variety of adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Talk therapy can provide a safe place to explore the issues most important to the individual(s), and I believe that clients should always feel in charge of their own therapy. Your agenda is my agenda, and you can set the pace which is comfortable for you. I am here to help you to explore your issues and to achieve your goals. We can utilize a wide variety of modalities depending upon what works for you, My approach with each individual or couple is person-centered, to listen openly and non-judgementally, and to foster a supportive therapeutic relationship in which the clients feel safe and accepted. With that foundation we can explore the issues which the client or couple wants to address and develop a plan for hope and positive change. You are welcome to contact me to arrange a brief phone interview in which we can get a feel for how we might be able to work together. You can give me an overview of how you see your challenges and I can answer any questions you may have, as well as provide you with an impression of my therapeutic style and how that might fit you.
