About

Hello and welcome! It takes courage to reach out for help. Congratulate yourself, searching this site is a win! I am a good fit for someone who is working through trauma and the symptoms of trauma: depression, anxiety, detachment from self and others, and addiction. I focus on creating deeper and more meaningful relationships with yourself, your loved ones, and the world around you. I believe we are always on a journey to create a meaningful story for our lives, and I believe our need for healthy and meaningful relationships is core to the human experience.

When working with teens, I focus first and foremost on the relationship. We all need to feel seen and heard in order to heal, and this is especially true during the most tumultuous period of our development. I use evidence based approaches to help teens make sense of the immense changes they are navigating as they figure out who they are and what they want

With adults, I am somatic and contemplative in my approach, meaning I believe that connecting mindfully to the sensations of our bodies is often the first step to mental well-being. This is especially true for those who have experienced trauma because those hurts live in our bodies. What happened to us does not have to define who we are, nor who we become.
