About

Are you feeling stressed, stuck and overwhelmed with your search for a therapist? Do you tell yourself things like "this shouldn't be this hard!" or "What's wrong with me?! I know it'll be good for me but I just can't DO it". Picking a therapist can be one of the most daunting tasks for someone already struggling to "get their life together". If this fits your experience, you may want to consider reaching out to me to get connected. I focus on fostering a safe, challenging, and equitable environment to empower my clients in their therapy. My aim is to support you in moving toward your desired direction, not just a destination.

I use both experiential and academic knowledge to assist folks facing struggles with anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, identity development, navigating neurodivergence (ADHD & Autism), relationship issues, chronic pain and illness, substance abuse recovery, sexuality, gender and romanticism, and BPD recovery.

As a neurodivergent, queer, Black woman, it is both passion and purpose that drives my therapy work. I don't subscribe to a one-size-fits-all narrative and use a trauma-informed, humanistic approach to find best practices to work with you, as an individual. I pull from various theoretical orientations with strong influences from CBT, DBT and somatic therapy.
