I am a LPC who obtained my B.S. in Psychology from Virginia Tech and my M.S. in Clinical Counseling from Radford University. My goal as a therapist is to help clients who are seeking to garner further insight into understanding why they respond to things the way that they do. One’s past can influence how they show up in the here and now. As such, sometimes individuals respond to situations in ways that no longer feel beneficial. Utilizing a phasic psychodynamic framework amongst other integrative approaches, I seek to support clients in understanding those connections between past and present in order to make lasting change. I specialize in working with individuals 18+ who are struggling with relational issues, trauma, dissociation (including DID), anxiety, and depression. I have worked as a therapist for 3 years on a specialty inpatient unit addressing complex trauma and dissociative disorders and am familiar with working with a spectrum of acuity. I highly value the importance of meeting my clients where they are, wherever they are in their personal journey. I provide sessions both in-person and virtually to best accommodate all of my clients needs. Seeking therapy can be a daunting decision and I am honored to support my clients in their journeys to learn more about themselves.
