Therapists » Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
I prioritized working with LGBTQ+ folks in my graduate training and research, and I continue to center this community in my work. In addition, I am experienced with issues of anxiety, depression, OCD, grief, intimate partner violence, and identity. In addition, I am experienced with issues of anxiety, depression, mood disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), grief, interpersonal trauma, domestic and intimate partner violence, identity and personal growth, as well as the complexities of relationships. I am qualified in working with adults through the entire lifespan and truly love working with emerging adults and adolescents. My approach is shaped by the principles of feminist therapy which understands that our unique intersecting identities shape how we experience this world, and that much of our distress is due to disempowerment, marginalization, and expectations tied to our identities. Therapy is a collaborative process with the client-therapist relationship at the center. I aim to cultivate a comfortable and safe therapeutic space by bringing humor and authenticity to my work. Overall, I hope that you will leave our sessions with a greater awareness of self and a greater ability to practice gentleness towards self and others. If you think this may be a good fit, please give me a call or email me with your information.
