I’m a sex therapist for people who have a hard time talking about sex. I see clients who have a complicated relationship with their body, who have trouble identifying and sharing with partners and who have blocks around sex. I work with couples who have different desire levels. I help people work through various distressing experiences that limit their access to their own pleasure. I am interested in the ways sex and intimacy are impacted by one’s relationship with their body, particularly as a result of illness or surgery. I am trained in EMDR and practice through a trauma informed relational framework. I love working with people exploring life transitions, including those happening in early adulthood, career changes, beginning and ending relationships, fertility challenges, pregnancy, post-partum, parenting, and health diagnoses. I am trained in EMDR and sex therapy. I use a combination of my skills with all clients. As a licensed social worker and marriage and family therapist, working towards becoming an AASECT certified sex therapist, I try to understand the intersectional identities of the people with whom I work.
