Are you still struggling with feelings of not being enough, being too much, insecurity in relationships, rejection sensitivity, and fear of abandonment? Did you grow up in a dysfunctional family atmosphere? Did trauma(s) during crucial developmental years affect the way you connect with yourself and others? I focus on working with adults who are coping with the effects of developmental/complex PTSD (cPTSD) and/or growing up in a dysfunctional family environment. Trauma is an experience that overwhelms our ability to cope. In relationships a rupture (physical or emotional) in our primary attachment can cause traumatic effects. I utilize a research-informed integrative approach combining cognitive, behavioral, and somatic (body based) interventions with a goal of empowering you to connect and communicate with your own systems to foster a sense of felt safety and calm even in the midst of stressful situations. Because let’s face it, life will always come with stress. Using personalized integration/introspection exercises (breathwork, meditation, mindfulness, visualization, intuitive movement, etc.) both in and between sessions you’ll learn how to safely feel your body and calm your nervous system so that you can live more consciously instead of in cycles of reactivity. You deserve to live a life that you choose!
