Abbey blends elements of solution-focused and client-centered approaches to support, guide and empower individuals towards deepened self-awareness. Sessions involve a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions aimed to explore past and present experiences, improve coping skills, and develop a better understanding of the connections between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. While earning her Bachelor’s in Psychology and Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Abbey gained valuable field experience as a therapeutic mentor and intern at residential and partial hospitalization programs. She currently works with clients of all ages and backgrounds, with specialization in treating anxiety disorders, eating disorders and obsessive-compulsive disorders
