I am very passionate about working with young adults, children (5-10), teens (15-18), and families. I identify as gay and strive to work with the LGBTQ+ community. Through my educational training and application of theoretical counseling practices, I strive to help clients navigate their way through anxiety, depression, past/present trauma, and other struggles. I believe that each individual is the expert of their own life, but sometimes needs assistance in navigating life’s curveballs. I am fully affirming and strive to assist the LGBTQ+ Community in finding love and acceptance from others, but more importantly, for themselves. I work from an Adlerian and Postmodern perspective, believing that your past has formed the person you are today and that your unique worldview is no less valid or important than anyone else’s. It is my hope, through counseling, that clients will be able to experience growth in their lives by shifting beliefs that no longer make sense or fit in their lives. In an increasingly stressful world, it becomes more and more exhausting, trying to do it all on your own. I am very passionate about meeting new clients and helping to process whatever life may have thrown your way. If I have said anything that has resonated with you, please reach out and schedule a time to begin/resume your healing journey with me.
